Ways to watch 2019 NFR live stream online on CBS Sports Network The 2020 NFR will be from December 5th through 14th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The ten days of events at the NFR will began on a Thursday night (Dec 5) and close on a Saturday night (Dec 14).

NFR 2019 Tickets

The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is known as the "Super Bowl of Rodeo" and is the most prestigious rodeo in the world. It takes place each December in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 1959, thousands of the best of cowboys have had the honor to compete in the National Finals Rodeo in a bid to become the undisputed champion of one of the event’s seven divisions. The NFR divisions are: bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping and time-down roping. Combined with their year-to-date bounties, the division champions are determined by their overall gross.

The NFR is put on each year by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), who invites the top fifteen money-earners in the league to Vegas. The cowboys are put through 10 rounds of competition over 10 days, with the top eight earning substantial prize money. The NFR is the richest rodeo on earth with a purse of over $6 million dollars. The overall winners get the legendary NFR solid gold belt buckle.

The best seats at NFR are the VIP Gold Buckle seating (located in the first five rows: FF-JJ) of sections 104-110 and 113-116. The seats are so close to the action, you can practically touch the horses, bulls and riders, but please note that some of these seats may have obstructed views if they're close to the stalls. The bucking chutes are located on the end of the stadium under sections 101 and 122, perfect for bull riding and bronc busting. Sections 111-112 sit above the roping end, giving you a perfect view of team roping and time-down roping.
NFR Experience

The NFR is the main event in Vegas during these 10 days in December, but some of the biggest entertainment during NFR happens outside the arena. The Cowboy Christmas Show runs concurrently and is the premier shopping with jewelry, western wear, boots, art and furniture. Cowboy Fanfest offers over 100,000 square feet of interactive space, exhibits, championship livestock and autograph sessions.

Then there is the great country music that happens during NFR. Many of country music’s top artists come to Las Vegas to perform during the two weeks of NFR. This year, you can see these top country acts that are playing during NFR:

NFR at Thomas & Mack Center

The Nationals Final Rodeo takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a capacity of nearly 18,000 the venue is full of energy during the NFR. The bucking chutes at NFR are located at the Thomas & Mack Center end in front of sections 101/122 and the roping end is located on the opposite side in front of sections 111-112.
